Big Valentine's Watcher FeatureBig Valentine's Watcher Feature by *KuumeHappy Valentine's Day to everyone!
Some time ago, I browsed the galleries of ALL my watchers and picked something that I particularly liked from all those galleries whose owners seemed to be fairly active. (If you do not find your work here even though you watch me and haven't been inactive lately, please message me at once and I'll add you! I may have indeed forgotten a few pieces!)I am glad to have had the opportunity to chat with so many different kinds of artists on dA, and especially grateful to those watchers that have been around for a long time.
Feel free to click around and get to know each other a bit!

| To help others out that need points and please do not send me messeges and notes non-stop begging for points when you do not even know me, could care less about my work, or any of my fans and friends. It is getting a bit annoying. I am a nice person please do not take advantage. |

| Dave Gold was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1975. Dave has always been into the arts in one way or another. Since he was a child he was always the odd child, instead of playing with the rest of the children he would rather spend his time drawing pictures in the corner. Dave began his visual art career back in 2002. He was creating a gift for his mother’s birthday, than began painting snack tables, which eventual brought him to the artist canvas. His work began as abstract art, which emerged into what he does now which is pop – surrealism. Dave Gold is becoming more involved within the pop surrealism culture and movement. Dave will continue building and expanding his iconic signature for the rest of his life. Art is the world to me. It is a place where I can let myself escape from the everyday stressors in life. In my paintings I communicate between two worlds the real world and my world. I put a strong emphasis on the human condition and the thoughts and reasons people do the things they do. Within my overall concept, I include stories that I experience in my life or feelings and emotions that are affecting me or projected/displaced onto me from external sources. I love to use lines connecting objects together to form a sort of community relationship within the painting. However, most of my lines run off the canvas allowing the viewer to create their own world outside the canvas. For me the canvas is just a snapshot of a much larger world outside the borders of the painting, which lies in the viewers mind. I am a highly emotional painter. I paint off my own and others emotions and conditions, as well as things affecting the world around me such as pollution, the economy, and my day to day experiences with others who I have interacted with. This is my world, enjoy a piece of me. ~ Dave Gold ~ Future Exhibitions TBA Past Exhibitions 2011 - Walt Whitman Museum - April 9th 2011 - Toast - Port Jefferson, NY 2008 - American Painting NYC 2007 - American Painting, Baltimore Maryland 2007 - American Painting - Washington D.C. 2006 - Jadite Galleries - NYC 2005 - Kanvas - NYC 2004 - Jeffery's @ Essex - NYC Press Dave Gold has been published in VISIONARY ART YEARBOOK - The Greatest Visionary Artists Across The World 2010-2011 NEWSDAY - March 18th, 2011 Smithtown Messenger - March 17th, 2011 CATAPULT ART MAG - Issue 14 Templum Art Magazine - Issue 4 |
